A coworker and I stopped in for lunch. We sat at the bar and ordered sandwiches. I was absolutely in love with the turkey and pesto sandwich I got. It came with some type of homemade BBQ sauce for dipping which I thought would be a strange pair so I set it to the side. My buddy ordered the meatball sub and tried dipping his sandwich in the sauce. We learned it is a fantastic compliment with marinara. The sweet sauce heightened your meatball experience. He couldn't stop talking about how food it was. The bartender was nice to talk to. Very personable. It was definitely a great experience.

We dropped in here out of chance. Been wanting to try it and we finally was able to. Great sandwiches and the service was awesome. Can’t wait to go back and try the pizza.

The food taste and quality is always excellent (especially anything made with their delicious pesto), however, they do not have sliced or ground beef for topping options. Their only meats are pork and chicken, which can be a huge turn-off for those of us who do not eat swine. This is the only reason I have not given 5 stars for the food. It's a little on the pricey side, to be honest, but that is probably to be expected given the premium real estate for the location, I think. You can definitely spend the same or more money on inferior quality pizza in this town. A $30 large has really become the norm even when it's not very good, at least here you can rest assured that it's going to be pretty excellent no matter what you get (especially if it has their pesto in/on it). I have never been here to sit and eat, or to meet with friends for a pizza and drinks, so I can't really judge the "atmosphere" and "service" apart from my experience picking something up to-go. I can say that the service I have received has always been prompt and friendly, and apart from how loud it is (even with noise-canceling headphones) the atmosphere is very warm and inviting. I will say that they were nice e

What a great place for a pizza.. We found David's Pizza while looking for a place to eat during a park day that's within walking distance. The pizza is great and they have a large selection of non alcoholic beer for that midday refresher

We came in to have food and drinks and watch the tournament and our server very politely turned on the U of M game for us. Our server was super sweet (cici and the only reason this isn’t 1 star). Ordered 4 drinks, requested an orange for a blue moon and the server informed me the bartender was β€œtoo busy” to get me an orange. Understandable….if that were true. Photos for reference that it was not, and then he doubled down and was talking negatively about me for requesting such an outlandish thing as an orange. Very unprofessional to talk about your guest, but at the very least maybe make sure they can’t see you big guy. Then let our server cici know he was going outside again ….so busy. We would have ordered food and more drinks but there’s better places with a more professional staff. So in his own sweet special words, β€œyou can tell him that”.
